Welcome to The Lost Yankee Ranch (“we,” “our,” or “us”). By accessing our website, booking a hunt, purchasing animals, or participating in any activity at The Lost Yankee Ranch, you agree to the following Terms & Conditions. Services Offered The Lost Yankee Ranch provides guided and unguided hunting experiences, lodging (if applicable), animal sales for release within a fenced hunting operation, and related outdoor recreational services. All services are subject to availability and may change without notice. Eligibility & Legal Compliance All guests and hunters must: Be legally eligible to hunt in the State of Texas Comply with all applicable federal, state, and local laws Follow Texas Parks & Wildlife regulations Possess any required licenses or permits Failure to comply may result in removal from the ranch without refund. Bookings, Deposits & Payments Deposits may be required to secure bookings or animal purchases. All payments are non-refundable unless otherwise stated in writing. Live animal purchases become non-refundable once animals are released. Pricing may vary based on species, size, availability, and market conditions. Hunting Ethics & Ranch Rules All hunts are conducted under ethical hunting standards. Guests agree to: Follow all ranch rules and guide instructions Practice safe firearm and bow handling at all times Respect animals, property, staff, and other guests The Lost Yankee Ranch reserves the right to refuse service to anyone engaging in unsafe, illegal, or disruptive behavior. Assumption of Risk Hunting and outdoor activities involve inherent risks, including but not limited to: Use of firearms or archery equipment Interaction with wild or exotic animals Uneven terrain, weather conditions, and natural hazards By participating, guests voluntarily assume all risks associated with these activities. Liability Waiver To the fullest extent permitted by Texas law, The Lost Yankee Ranch, its owners, employees, and affiliates are not liable for injuries, accidents, illness, property damage, or loss arising from participation in ranch activities. All guests may be required to sign a separate liability waiver prior to participation. Harvests, Trophy Care & Meat Processing No guarantee is made regarding size, score, or harvest success unless explicitly stated in writing. Field dressing, quartering, and trophy care may be offered but do not include taxidermy or meat processing unless specified. Transportation and processing of harvested animals are the guest’s responsibility unless otherwise arranged. Cancellations & No-Shows Cancellations must be communicated in advance. Deposits and payments are generally non-refundable. No-shows for scheduled hunts or releases forfeit all payments. Photos, Video & Marketing By participating in activities at The Lost Yankee Ranch, guests grant permission for photographs or videos taken on the property to be used for promotional or marketing purposes unless a written request to opt out is provided in advance. Website Use All website content, including text, images, logos, and branding, is the property of The Lost Yankee Ranch and may not be copied or used without written permission. Third-Party Services We are not responsible for services provided by third parties, including but not limited to lodging partners, processors, taxidermists, or transport companies. Modifications to Terms The Lost Yankee Ranch reserves the right to update or modify these Terms & Conditions at any time. Continued use of our services constitutes acceptance of the updated terms. Governing Law These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of the State of Texas.
